Kiev death-metal band SCORN AGE was created by two guitar players Denis Taranov and Ivan Viniarskiy. The start of SCORN AGE was on 15 of August 2002 on the first rehearsal of band. After a couple months of active rehearsals it was time to find musicians for complete band body. It was not easy to find good musicians, so it took much time. Many different Kiev musicians pass through band. In the end of 2002 (November 2002) SCORN AGE find a first stable singer - Andrew 'Dux", he was also author of all early song lyrics. In the end of January 2003 into band came drummer Anton Bolotin (ex - VENATOR). But it was rather difficult to find a good bass player for such music style. Almost every bass-man played in band for a week, but not longer. Exception to the rule was Viacheslav Cherkhas, who played in band for a month. In that time SCORN AGE start its gig practice. First SCORN AGE gig was in city of Kharkov on 06.04.2003. It was fest in memory of old metal bands in famous underground club 'Fort'. After that trip it was clear that Viacheslav Cherkhas has rather difficult character and no serious plans for music, and for his problems with discipline he was not a member of group any more. At last in the end of June 2003 appeared a new member of band. It was Vladimir 'Silent' Valkov, who now plays bass guitar in SCORN AGE. On the 02.06 2003 it was first gig with this bass player. In that time he was playing in SCORN AGE only one week. Gig was rather fine, but Andrew 'Dux' was not able to growl in band any more. He had some ideological and music ideas which he could not realize playing in death-metal band. So it was his choice to leave the band. His last gig with SCORN AGE was on 17.09.2003. This show was watching an old friend of Vladimir Valkov - Alexander Olshinskiy. After he heard news that Andrew 'Dux' leave SCORN AGE he ask to try his vocal in the band. His professional approach and original vocal ideas make him a new front man and vocalist of SCORN AGE with no doubt. In the middle of autumn 2003 band recorded some rehearsal tape that includes 5 first scorn songs for labels promoters and gig-managers only. This tape was recorded with Andrew 'Dux" as a session singer. First gig for new front man Alexander Olshinskiy was on 06.11.2003. And it was just violent and as professional as it only could be. Alexander was just fucking killer as for debut gig.
